Financial Policy & Insurance

  • If you do not hold dental insurance, full payment is due for services at the time they are rendered. Our office is in Network with Delta Dental. We accept and will file claims to most major insurance companies. We are unable to file claims to Medicare, Medicaid or Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield.
  • We offer a discount of 10% off your total bill if the balance is paid in full by a cash or check, for those patients without insurance. Bank cards and credit cards are not entitled to this discount benefit.
  • For your hygiene appointments we will accept payment directly from your insurance company first. If there is a balance remaining you will be notified with a billing statement from our office. Remittance is due upon receipt.
  • For “major” work (i.e. bridges, dentures, partials) a payment to start the process will be required. Our office manager will work with each patient individually to determine the amount.
  • Patients scheduling for a crown will be required to pay $355.00 at the first appointment. If you hold dental insurance, the final payment will be due from you once you receive our billing statement in the mail after your insurance has paid. If you do not have dental insurance, final payment will be due once you receive the permanent crown at the final appointment.
  • For “basic” services such as fillings, we ask that you pay your estimated out of pocket amount on the day of your appointment. Our office manager can work with you to determine what that amount will be.
  • Your dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer and your insurance company. We will gladly file claims to your insurance for you. If you question a payment amount from them, please contact your insurance company directly.
  • A pre-determination can be sent to your insurance company to determine what your benefit amount, if any, will be. Our office manager can send that out to your insurance upon your request, and gladly go over the information with you once it is received in our office.
  • Any patient under the age of 18 will need to have parental permission given to our office prior to the start of that appointment. Please call the office for verbal consent if your child will be attending his/her appointment without you being present.
  • Ultimately you are responsible for payment of all services rendered to you, by our office. Your insurance company will only pay towards the total fee.
  • Our office accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. We also offer Care Credit as an additional form of payment. Our office currently allows with Care Credit, up to 12 months interest free, with a $200.00 minimum. Care Credit is subject to credit approval and we can gladly help you with the credit application. You can also find it online at Carecredit.com
